Christ the King Lutheran Church

Size: 500 Seat Sanctuary
Location: North Olmstead, Ohio

The congregation wanted to provide a place of worship where people could share together and be brought closer together within the space of worship. The orginal projecct was designed around a triangular geometric form, which best reflected the goals of the church. The sanctuary was designed to create the illusion of an unsupported structure allowing expression of the uncomplicated objectives of the church members. The spatial credibility resulting from the clever juxtaposition of the sanctuary walls and glass, in unison with the subordinate structure as a whole, attests to the congregations desire to create a living structture for sharing in the pure and simple pageantry of worship.
