Who We Are
Cleveland architect, Richard Fleischman launched this firm in 1961. Before that he had studied architecture in this country and Europe. In fifty years of work we have planned and executed more than four hundred works, including seventy educational environments for people of all ages. We have remained in the Cleveland area, while also opening offices in New York City and Cincinnati, Ohio.
We are known for a variety of creative designs. From modernist buildings with walls of glass, to timeless buildings with intricate facades, we have worked on many different projects. Our building designs have been applauded for being "dignified," "restrained" or "sensitive to context" and others have earned the tag "innovative", "daring" or "cutting edge."
Clearly, we have had a long and successful history as architects because of our close attention to the needs of the client, where we received five 25 Year Awards for sustainable design
Our peers have recognized RF+PA for more than 250 local, national and international design awards. Of specific significance is the Individual Gold Medal Richard Fleischman received in 2001 and the Firm Gold Medal received in 1988. As a firm, we are proud to be recognized by our peers.
